Lynda Murray Tappan, born in Benton, Illinois, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Brandon, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moore Tappan, Jr.

Lynda is survived by her three sons and their spouses: Scott M. Tappan and wife Monica, Moore Tappan III and wife Tami, and Christopher L. Tappan and wife Lorraine; her beloved grandchildren: Courtney, Corey, Chase, Victoria, Carson, Reece, and Rhyan; and her great-grandchildren: Adalyn and Case.
