Lydia A. Maysonet, 93, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Lydia was married to Abilio Maysonet for 56 years until his passing, and together they built a loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for her family.

Lydia had a vibrant personality and a heart full of love. She enjoyed telling stories, singing, and sharing laughter through her jokes. Her life reflected the meaning of her biblical name—she was a woman of determination, foresight, and generosity. Lydia's beautiful smile and charming spirit touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth, and her sons, David, Billy, and Ruben, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren who will cherish her memory forever.

A memorial service to celebrate Lydia's life will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
