Lucy Y. Guy, age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2024, at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. She worked as a head start teachers assistant at Belle Witter Elementary School. Lucy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lucy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a positive way. She was predeceased in death by her husband David Guy and grandson Adam Buchanan. Lucy is survived by her four children, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and others whose lives Lucy touched. Lucy will be cremated at Serenity Meadow Funeral Home and Crematory. Lucy wishes to spend eternity alongside her beloved husband David at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with a private service with her family.
