Ellis, Lucinda 'Cindy' T.  73, of Gibsonton Florida peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on April 16, 2025. A native to Florida, Cindy was born in Sarasota to Oscar and Mary Edna Ellis, grew up in Brandon and graduated from Brandon High School. Cindy is survived by her husband Doug McCorvey, her loving daughter Michellene Linenberger (Greg) and her precious grandchildren Lauren, Nicholas, and Taryn, who she cherished. She is also survived by step-son Graham McCorvey (Kriscinda), step-granddaughter Ashia, sister Corinne Ellis, as well as, one niece, two nephews, five great-nephews and one great-niece. At Tampa General Hospital, Cindy was among the first kidney transplant recipients to live for 48 years. She was an original member of the Ye Royal Krewe of Charlotte De Berry. she enjoyed taking care of her dogs and gardening. but most of all, she was happiest when she was with her family and friends. We will forever hold a special place in our hearts for Cindy. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
