Catena, Lucille A., 90, passed away on December 16, 2016. She moved from Middletown, NJ to Valrico, FL in 2013, with her late husband of 68 years, Patrick F. Catena. Lucille had a very strong love of family and deep faith. She was a secretary in the Irvington, NJ school system for 23 years, active in St Mary, Mother of God Parish, Middletown, NJ, and a volunteer at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ. Lucille loved children and was always interested in helping those less fortunate. She is survived by daughters, Mary Rose Catena and Patricia Petro, son-in law James Petro, and brother, Mario Codella. There will be visitation on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
