Minkus, Louise went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2023.

Born in East Orange NJ in 1933 to Fredrick and Wilhelmina Hefter. Louise was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband and best friend, Herbert Minkus Jr and her "baby" sister, Linda Kelly. Louise retired in 1977 from the River Edge Board of Education in NJ. She and Herb moved to PA where they joined St. Paul's Lutheran Church and volunteered at Pocono Medical Center. Widowed in 2001, she remained in PA till 2012 when she moved to FL, living with her daughter and son-in-law. She was a member of Apostles Lutheran Church in Brandon.

She loved her family, her church and her friends, both here and in PA. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and talking, as her family and friends would agree.

She is survived by her beloved children, Louise Pezzutti (Robert) and Herbert Minkus III (Betty Jean), 2 granddaughters, Beth Lawrence and Sarah Murtaugh, 2 grandsons, Timothy and Daniel Pezzutti as well as great grandchildren Danielle and Ryan Murtaugh Jr.
