Lorraine A. Parker, 87, of Valrico, died on Friday August 17, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 12, 1924 in Bowling Green, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Futch) Ford. Her husband of 65 years, Harold, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister Velma Peterson and brothers Lamar and Gordon Ford. Lorraine was a devoted member of the Church of God in Brandon, and Boyette Springs Church of God. She is survived by her sons Larry (Lynn), Ronnie (Vera), and Dale (Cheryl), grandsons Larry Jr. and Ronnie Jr. (Danielle), great grandson Izaiah, and siblings Evelyn Sanchez, Pat Gonzalez, Grady, Clyde, Kenneth, Bobby, and Gary Ford. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2012 at Serenity Meadows at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am.
