Lora Boatright Flowers of Riverview, FL, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. She was 96 years young. Born in Garfield, GA, a daughter of the late Robert Lewis and Eva Smith Boatright, she lived in Portsmouth, VA, for 30 years. After retirement, she and her late husband, Herman Wilton Flowers moved to Florida. Lora retired from Belk Department Stores after 25 years of service. She was a member of Journey Church, Brandon, Florida and a wonderful Christian lady who loved the Lord. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Survivors include daughter, Nancy Ionoff of Valrico, FL; son, Lewis Flowers of Oklahoma City; 5 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30p.m. Tuesday, December 6 at Journey Church, 1310 John Moore Road, Brandon, FL 33511.

In addition, funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, December 8 at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home in Swainsboro, GA with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery in Garfield, GA.
