Masonic memorial services to celebrate the life of Lonny L. Jones, 65, a resident of Apollo Beach, Florida, formally of Princeton, Illinois will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday October 29th at Serenity Meadows in Riverview, Florida. Lonny passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013. Lonny L. Jones was born on December 12, 1947, a twin son of Herbert and Florence (Adams) Jones. During his childhood he lived in Manilus and Princeton, graduating from Princeton High School. Lonny touched the lives of many as a teacher, coach, and school principal. He was a past Master of the Princeton Masonic Lodge #587. His favorite pastimes included riding his motorcycle, flying, cruising, boating, and most of all spending time with his grandson. He is survived by his wife Jeannie Jones, daughter Megan Jones-Willis, grandson Trent Willis, and three brothers Roger, Del and Larry Jones. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Trent Jones and his parents. As an eagle scout, Lonny asked that memorials be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Gulf Ridge Council, in lieu of flowers.
