Whitt, Lola M., 81, of Gibsonton passed away on May 2, 2014. Lola was born on November 16, 1932 in Plant City, Florida to the late Mose and Lois (Dempsey) Keen. Lola loved to play the organ and piano in her spare time. Lola retired from GTE. Lola is survived by a son Stephen (Dabney) Whitt, a Daughter Janet Whitt McCorkle, a grandson Corey Whitt, two great grandsons Jordan and Zach McGuire, niece Elaine Simon along with many other caring nieces and nephews. Lola was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Whitt, who passed in 2002, and a grandson Daniel McGuire. A Funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 6, 2014 at 12pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior.
