Therien, Lois Ann, 84, of Apollo Beach, passed away on May 1, 2019. Lois moved to the Tampa area in 1990 from New Jersey. When her children were younger Lois enjoyed volunteering as a Boy Scout Den Mother. She also enjoyed crafting, including stamping, quilting, and card making. Lois and Stuart enjoyed square dancing and traveling across the United States. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Julie, and Judy Schultz; brothers, Howard Schultz, Richard Schultz, and Norman Schultz. Lois is survived by her loving family, husband of 67 years, Stuart Therien; daughters, Susan Ann (Robert) Trott and Robin (Peter) Perez; sons, Stuart (Carole) Therien, Jr, William (Patricia) Therien, and Dennis Therien; sisters, Irma Jean (Robert) Therien and Janice (Joseph)Giamella; brothers, Raymond (Sandra) Schultz and Tom (Lily) Green; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Lois will be laid to rest on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11:00 am at Sarasota National Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at Caribbean Isles in Apollo Beach at 2:30 pm.
