Lois Bailey Lynch was received into the presence of our Holy God on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Lois was born to L.A. Bailey and Stella Walton Bailey on December 11, 1927, in Cullman, Alabama. She had two older brothers, Aubrey and Walton, who preceded her in death. Lois accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was faithful to Him by her service. She loved people and animals, as well as her beautiful flowers and bountiful gardens. Lois was a wonderful mother and cook, and was very proud and protective of her family. At her departure from us, she left behind her loving family; husband, Mark; two daughters, Carolyn Hopkins and Beverly Golden; son-in-law, Kenneth Golden; three grandsons, Scott Golden, Steven Golden (wife, Mary), and Randy Hopkins (wife, Cheryl); four great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Ayden, Liam, and Paul; step-daughter, Jo Ellen Anderson; and two sisters-in-law, Libby Smith and Rebecca Richards. Lois passed away at Hawthorne Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she had many loving caregivers. Visitation at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The service in celebration of Lois' life, followed by burial, will be Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
