Lois A. Angielczyk Kata, of Cheektowaga, New York, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2016 in Sun City Center, Florida at the age of 84.
Lois was born to the late Madeline and Thaddeus Angielczyk. She married Chester V. Kata, a member of the U.S. Army, on October 14th, 1950. The two built their lives together in Cheektowaga and eventually moved to Riverview, Florida in 1999. Lois' interests revolved around baking, traveling, and the arts. Above all, Lois had an undying love for her family and a knack of touching the world with a positive light. She leaves a legacy of joy, class, and love.
Lois is survived by her granddaughter Elizabeth T. Kata and daughter-in-law Bertha T. Kata of Riverview, FL. She is preceded in death by her brother Theodore Angielczyk, husband Chester V. Kata, and son Ronald C. Kata.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Lois at 11:00 AM on October 29th, 2016 at Serenity Meadows 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL with a reception to follow. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573.
