Reflections of Life

On March 1, 1948, Lissett Yvonne Moore was born in Malton, Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies, and she was the last of seven children.
On the evening of December 21, 2023, at 6:04pm, Lissett was called home to her Heavenly Father, after a brief illness.
In 1971, Lissett married the love of her life, Leonard (Lenny) Heron. In search of a better life, they emigrated to the United States in 1972. She worked in the Banking industry for many years and later obtained her certification as an Ultrasound Technician. They lived and worked in New Jersey until their retirement. In 2005, they moved to their forever home in Riverview, Florida. Lissett & Leonard were faithful member of El Bethel Church in Tampa until her untimely passing.
She is survived by her loving husband, Leonard (Lenny); sons, Keith, Orel, Neville, Bryan, and Andrew; daughter, Kimaree; 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, daughters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and last, but not least, her fur- baby, Joseph (JoJo) Heron.

Lissett showed resilience in the face of adversity. She was the epitome of spirituality and strength, and always put God first in her life. She was hard working and passionate, and never waned in her support or love for The Lord, her family, and friends. She was dedicated in working at her church and supported in any way she could. She will be missed by all, May her soul rest in Jesus.
