Schiek, Linda, 59, of Brandon, passed away on October 12, 2010. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, the Brandon League of Fine Arts, and a co-founder of the Sisters in Stitches crocheting group. She was an elementary and middle school teacher and enjoyed teaching people of all ages. Linda will be remembered by all as a loving mother, grandmother, teacher, artist and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Schiek. Linda is survived by her loving family, sons, Ronald (Julie) Letaw of Atlanta, GA and Jeffrey (Melonie) Letaw of Methuen, MA; daughter, Rebecca (Shaun) Wendland of Brandon, FL; sister, Margaret (Stephen) Wootten of Lutz, FL; and five grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church of Brandon.
