Linda Joyce Howie passed away suddenly on May 30, 2022 while bravely battling cancer. She was born on January 25, 1946 in Kankakee, Illinois to Harriet and Joe Biamont, and was raised in Tampa, Florida. She considered Apollo Beach her home. She is survived by her loving family: brother Bruce Biamont, husband William Howie, daughter Kim Christiansen, and grandson Eli Christiansen.

Her family was her focus, and she took care of them until the end. She was compassionate, devoted, and kind. Her family was oh-so loved, and protected by her.

A tomboy in her childhood, Linda continued on to sail and play tennis in her adult life. Many of her closest friendships were formed while playing tennis, and she loved "the girls". With her partner and husband, William, she built the home they would raise their family in. She was an artistic painter and a skilled sewer, though never boasted about it. She quietly passed these skills on to her daughter, Kim. If given more time, she surely would have done the same for her grandson, Eli. The family is grateful that Linda got the chance to have picnics with Eli, and they bonded over cookies and toy trains.

Linda will be missed by all those that she has left behind.
