Linda Brown Fields, age 70 of Tampa, FL and formerly of the Mt. Calvary community of Clarkton went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2104 at her residence. A graveside service will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Brown Family Cemetery, Bladenboro. She was the daughter of the late Harlie Preston and Gertrude Callahan Brown. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Joseph E. Brown, John Leon Brown, Neil Brown, Dorla Dean Brown, Eylala Brown; and two grandchildren, Christopher Hester and Scott Futch. She leaves to cherish her memory, five sons, Randy Hester of Tampa, FL, Thurman Hester of Mt. Airy, Anthony Richardson of Lake City, FL, David Richardson of Wilmington, NC, Benjamin Richardson, Jr. of Plant City, FL; three daughters, Pamela Hester Roth of Palm Harbor, FL, Lisa Hester Pardo of Tampa, FL, and Sherry Richardson Wertman of Dover, FL; two sisters, Oleta Brown Hester of Winterville, and Janice Harleen Brown Ball of Bladenboro; a brother, Harley Hercules Brown of Statesville; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2 - 3:30 P.M. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
