Peters, Lila Jean 82, of Brandon, FL passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009.
Lila moved to Valrico FL after her retirement from Laurel Valley High School, where she taught English and German for many years. She was active in the Women of the Moose, Brandon lodge 1596. She was an avid sports fan and followed current events closely. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul, brother William Glessner. She is survived by a son, Dr. Stephen Peters( Diane) Erin Glaws ( Peter ), brothers, Wayne and George Glessner, sisters, Helen Luther, Kathryn Geyer, Maxine Powell, Jackie Benamati, grandchildren, Ryan ,Kathryn and Andrew Glaws. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2009 at theMoose Lodge #1596, Brandon, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LifePath Hospice.
