Levi Cummings, affectionately known as Zannah, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 28, 2017 at age 86. Levi was born August 1, 1930 in Elizabeth, Jamaica and moved to the United States in 2001 where he and his family resided in Tampa, Florida.
He faithfully served GOD and the community of Dela-Vega City Seventh Day Adventist Church where he offered his talent and time to meet other's need. Levi was a building constructor and left his masterful trade skills on multiple landmark in Jamaica from the notable Spanish Town Courthouse and several famous churches in Spanish Town to multiple industrial complexes. His imprints touched many people at all levels to span from small home constructions to larger hotel properties. In his earlier years, his passion resided in the love for cricket and horse racing. He affectionately served as an avid race horse fan on Saturday and ardent cricket fan and eventually an umpire on Sunday.
Levi is survived by his loving and caring wife Delores, three sons Dalton, Dennis and Michael; three daughters Shereve, Carlene, and Cornelia; and seven Grandchildren Darryl, Shantelle, Shyon, Shayla, Dayla, Peyton, Maxton, one great grandson Jordan; and many cousins, niece and nephews.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Levi has touched are invited to his interment services. Levi's funeral service is slated for Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida 33578. Service commences at 2:30 p.m.
