Sweat, Leslie Preston went to meet his Lord and Savior on June 8, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his wife and family. Born on February 9, 1951 to Malcolm B. and Margaret J. Sweat, he was 64 yrs. young. His father preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Sharon Japps- Sweat, his mother Margaret Sweat, sons; Malcolm, and Jason Sweat, and Tony Japps, his granddaughter Marley Japps, brother Terry Sweat, sister Donna (Ralph) Sweat Williford, and his little dog Callie Rose, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He retired from Mosiac Fertilizer, LLC, after 42 years of service. He had a love of hunting, fishing, golf , and was on the company bowling league until he retired. A Funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 12pm at Simmons Loop Baptist Church. The family will receive guests from 11am to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leslie's name to Simmons Loop Baptist Church.
