Funkhouser, Leslie "Dale", 46, of Brandon passed away on April 9, 2015. Dale was born on April 24, 1968 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois and was the son of Maggie (Mosberger) Kijonka and Tommy L. Funkhouser. Dale served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. Dale loved boating, fishing and motorcycle riding. He was a previous member of the Cobras' motorcycle club, VFW and American Legion. Dale is survived by his wife of 20 years Paula (Jacenko, Cooper) Funkhouser, and step children Skye Erin Cooper and Ashley James Cooper. His mother Maggie Elizabeth Kijonka, step father Henry Kijonka, brothers Jeff Funkhouser and Alex Kijonka. Also two sister in laws, one niece and one nephew, and many aunties, uncles and cousins. A Funeral service with military honors will take place on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 7pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Viewing will take place from 5pm to the start of the service.
