Leslie George Albert passed away June 15, 2022, in Ruskin, Florida. He was born on March 20, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the son of Karl and Anne (Steinhardt) Albert.

"Les," as he was known to friends and family, grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Maryland when he was in his early twenties. After retirement he and his wife moved to Florida. He is survived by his wife of 29 years; Charlotte (Phillips) Albert. Les is also survived by his children Jessica R Albert and David W Albert (Eva); sister Susan McQuillan; stepdaughters Dawn Grabau (Greg) and Cathy Gentry; step grandchildren Michael, Ronald, Ryan, Samantha, Sarah, Mark; step great grandchildren Isabelle and Tobias. Les loved to play bridge and pilot his plane. He was a man of few words but he had a dry wit that he shared over and over again. His health began to decline eleven years ago. During those years he could always count on all of the love and support of his family and friends.
