Villanueva, Leonila 60, of Tampa, passed away on November 27, 2011. Born in the Philippines, Mrs. Villanueva had recently become a local resident after moving here from Queens, New York. Catholic by faith, she enjoyed caring for her family. Survivors include her son, John (Van) Villanueva; daughter, Jennifer (Christopher) Travis; brother Danny; sisters Melanie, Leonia and Lennie. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jaxon, Dominick, Bella, Christopher and Brayden. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
