Moore, Leonard Jay, 82, of Brandon, FL, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away on September 24, 2014. He worked as the Product Manager for GW Berkheimer in Gary, IN for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Bay Life Church, had previously sung with many chorales and barbershop quartets, and was a fan of the Bears, the Cubs and the Rays. Leonard enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his siblings; Miles Moore, Dale Drexel Moore, Donald Moore, Merle Moore, Lloyd Moore and Sue Carol. Leonard is survived by his loving family, wife of 33 years; Judy Moore; daughters, Janet Lynn (Frank) Mitchell, Mary K Ashurst, Elizabeth Ann (Gregg) Gaunt, and Helen Teresa (John) Dixon; brother, Gerald Moore; sisters, Bernice Poczatek, Judy (John) Cavalier, and Sandra (Dennis) Walker; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
