Leona "Tiny" Pettys, 97, of Valrico, passed away on December 10th, 2025 in Zephyrhills, FL.

Tiny was born in Antioch, FL to Charles and Della Cooper on June 27, 1928. She attended Turkey Creek High School. She married Randolph "Skeet" Pettys on October 23, 1948, in Plant City. She was a devoted homemaker and had a home-based business known for her "Granny Mouse" and various country crafts for 20+ years. She was a proud military wife and mother, with her husband serving in the Marines, and her sons serving in the Army and Navy. She was a member of Countryside Baptist Church in Dover and had a wonderful relationship with her Lord and Savior. She and her husband loved camping and fishing at Lake Rosalie for nearly 50 years, introducing their love of the "simple outdoor family life" to their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, something that is still embedded today.

Tiny is preceded in death by husband Skeet of 57 years, and her sons Randy and Michael.

Tiny is survived by daughters Janice Anderson (Mark), Reba Ferlita (Sam), grandchildren Shannon Sarmiento (Robert), Billy Griffin, Amy Pettys, Ashley Pettys, Leslie Hatch (Kevin), Ryan Anderson, and many beloved great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Griffin, Robert Sarmiento, Jeremy Barone, Nicko Filippidis, Tony Pettys, Ryan Anderson.

Services for Tiny will be held on December 17, 2025 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview FL. Visitation will began at 11:30am with a service to start at 12pm. Committal service to follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
