Ellars, Leona "Lynn", 72, of Tampa, went to her eternal rest on August 26, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Charles and Gladys Simmons; brother, Larry Simmons; son-in-law, Reid Hayford; brother-in-law, Dwayne Snyder; and former husband, Frank Ellars. She is survived by her loving family, daughter and grandson, Debora and Jason Hayford; sister, Donna Snyder; brother, Dr. Rev. Robert Simmons (Jeanette); sister-in-law, Faith Simmons (David Knight); many loving nieces, nephews and friends; and two special great nieces and nephews, Brandon and Brittany. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, August 31, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Celebration of Leona's Life will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
