Colburn, Lecil McCoy, 75, of Brandon, passed away on August 31, 2014. Lecil graduated from Ensley High School in Birmingham, AL, and went on to the University of Alabama. As a graduate of UA he has remained a faithful Crimson Tide football fan. Lecil worked for Jim Walter Corp for many years. He enjoyed playing golf, and had a great sense of humor, he was always a pleasure to be around. Lecil is survived by his loving family, wife of 33 years, Jessica Diane Robbins Colburn; children, Kevin (Cheryl) Colburn, Kirk (Michelle) Colburn, and Katrina (Keith) Brown; grandchildren, Allyssa, Nicholas, Kallie and Kameron; great-grandchild, Gabriel; and many wonderful friends. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
