DeJoseph, Lawrence Anthony, 54, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, Mr. DeJoseph had been a local resident since 2004. After his retirement from the New York City Police Department, Mr. DeJoseph had also worked for the Orange County Sheriffs Dept. in Orange County New York, and here in Florida, he worked for Hillsborough Community College Security at the Brandon Campus. Mr. DeJoseph enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Wendy, sons, Lawrence (Melissa) DeJoseph II; Fernando Vasquez; Brent DeJoseph; Sean DeJoseph; John Pacheco; daughter, Damaris Vasquez, sister; Roseanne (Dominick) Monaco and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Serenity Meadow Memorial Park.
