Baker, LaVaughn, 83, of Gibsonton, passed away on October 26, 2015. LaVaughn enjoyed making people laugh, being the center of attention, and he never met a stranger; but above all he loved spending time with his family and going to church at South Shore Baptist Church. He retired from the Mosaic Plant in Riverview, when it was known as Gardinier. He then went on to work for Rivard Buick-GMC. LaVaughn is survived by his loving family, wife of 64 years, Gillie; daughters, Treva (Bill) Davies and Judy (Frank) Kilgore; and grandson, Adam Davies. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, the family will greet guests one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories in Tampa.
