Laurena Bell Byers Harwell of Wimauma, FL, went to be with Jesus on April 6, 2025, at the age of 85.  She passed away of natural causes. Laurena was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Laurena was born on May 18, 1939, in New Castle, PA.  At the age of 16, she moved with her family to Gibsonton, FL.  She attended Brandon High School and was a member of the high school band.

She attended The First Methodist Church in New Castle, PA and The First Methodist Church in Gibsonton, FL.  Laurena enjoyed time with her family, the beach, traveling and was a volunteer with the Brandon Regional Hospital Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Hazel Byers, her brothers, Kenneth and William "Bill" Ruppersberger, and husbands Edwin Harwell and Carlton Kenneth Price.

Laurena is survived by her children, Renee Stroud (Bobby), Patti Gonzales, Karen Waters, Linda Giguere (Carl), and Edwin "Buddy" Harwell; her grandchildren, Joseph Tindale (Stefany), James Kearbey (Stephanie), Dustin Waters, Amber Tabb (Clark), Jeremy Kearbey (Jessica) and Kendra Harrell (Michael); 14 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Serenity Meadows, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578.  Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m.
