Laura Mae Washington, age 77 of Tampa, FL, transitioned on Tuesday June 2, 2020 at Tampa General Hospital. Laura was born on February 18, 1943 in Springhill, LA. She came to the Tampa area by the way of the military in 1977. She spent 30 years as a Day Care Provider to the Tampa Community in South Tampa. Laura is survived by her children Barbara McDowell, Victor Washington, Standley Washington, Nicole Washington LaLinda Washington, her Former husband Bobby Washington and sister Linda Merriweather and her husband James and a hosts of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
