Larry Colley, 60, born in Odenville, AL passed away October 7, 2021.
Larry was the son of Billy and Faye Colley and is survived by his wife, Tracy, sons Justin, daughter in law
Alyssa and Vincent, brothers; Tim, (Connie), Terry, sisters; Donna Byers, Debbie Swindle, (Eldin) and Tina
Phillips, (Johnny). Other beloved family include grandchildren Jessica, Luca, Haylee, and Zoey along with
many nieces and nephews and large extended family.
Larry joined the Army in 1978 and retired after 21 years from the Army as a member of 5th Special
Forces Group as an Army medic. He retired in Florida and received his HVAC and Mechanical
contractor's license working in both the residential and commercial sector.
He was a friend, mentor, and advocate for everyone he met. His values and heart were larger than life
and he always put others before himself. He was always there to lend a helping hand to family,
neighbors, and strangers without ever asking anything in return. If you knew him you would agree
"Everybody Loves Larry". Larry loved nothing more than to spend time on his lanai with his wife, family,
and their dog Miley.
Larry Colley has left a huge void for all those that knew and loved him but his memory will be honored
by all, and although he is gone he will never be forgotten. We all have an angel in heaven.
Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 16 th at 12404
Boyette Rd. Riverview, FL 33569 at 12:00pm and will also be streamed virtually. A repast will follow the
memorial.
