Benjamin, Larry Gene, 67, of Wimauma, FL, passed away on October 24, 2014. Larry was born in Zanesville, OH and graduated from Philo High School, class of 1965. He moved to Florida in 1975. He was a systems operator for TECO at their Palm River Operations Center. Larry was devoted to his family, loved spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Isola Benjamin; and his brother, Cecil Benjamin. Larry is survived by his loving family, wife of 49 years, Mary Jo Benjamin; children, Pam Benjamin Turner and Michael (Terri) Benjamin; sisters, Martha (George) Morrison, Marilyn (Don) Whiteman, and Deloris (Jim) King; grandchildren, Kayla Jo Turner, Elizabeth Benjamin, Geoffery Benjamin, and Alexis Pratt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Larry's Life on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the family home. Memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org
