Polis, Lanard T., 84, of Riverview, FL peacefully passed away on April 17, 2018. Lanard proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a devoted family man, who adored his wife, Jane, and was always focused on his family. He enjoyed sailing, hunting, and fishing. He is preceded in death by his son, Lanard W. Polis; and brother, William L. Polis. Lanard is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jane; sons, Peter and his wife Lori Polis of Enfield CT, and Mathew and his wife Susan Polis of Westerville, OH; grandchildren, Peter L. Polis, Mathew R. Polis, Carolyn J. Polis, Mathew D. Polis Jr., Christian T. Polis, Ryan T. Polis, Andrew Polis, and Brian Polis. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
