Obituary

Kiplin Andrew Scott Chin, 59, late of Riverview, Florida passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022. He was born in Manchester, Jamaica, the son of Merton and Gloria and spent his childhood in Top Hill, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
As a young man, he married the love of his life: Marva Harris and immigrated to United States where they settled in Yonkers, New York. Together they shared two lovely daughters.
He enlisted and served in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) in 1987 where he was a part of an elite squad. Kiplin enjoyed sports and was a high school track & field coach for over 10 years to many students in Hillsborough County. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking and gardening and would share his harvest with his family and neighbors. Kiplin loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. His humor and smile will surely be missed by everyone.
Kiplin is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marva; his daughters, Jheanelle, Kimberly, Kamille; granddaughter, Aleyah; grandson, Cairo; his father, Merton; mother, Gloria; brothers, Ryan and Gregory; sisters, Suelan and Shelley; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and countless friends.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7)
