Kimberly Dowling, 53 of Apollo Beach, Florida, passed away a hero on July 15, 2026. She was born in Jacksonville FL on September 15, 1972 to Tom Dowling and Mary Wolfe Dowling.

Kim was the smartest person anyone knew when growing up. Kim was adventurous and extremely intelligent. Kim has always been a dog lover. Kim graduated from the University of South Florida with her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. Kim was truly beautiful inside and out. She was also an organ donor which gave life to strangers; there is truly no greater love than what she was able to offer in her final moments.

Kim spent nearly thirty years as an elementary school teacher throughout many different counties in the Tampa Bay area. She worked for Hillsborough County Schools, the Diocese of Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County Schools, as well as some charter schools throughout the years of her teaching career. With Kim teaching for nearly thirty years will live on in the hearts and minds of so many.

Kim’s hobbies included spending time relaxing at the beach, loving dogs, binge watching her favorite TV shows, shopping, doing home DIYs, and devoting so much time to her students.

Kim leaves behind her daughter Kassie, her parents Tom & Mary, her sister Kristan, her nephew and niece Noah & Sophia, and her two grandpups Bernie & Turbo.
