Himes, Kenneth Paul, Sr., 75, of Wimauma, passed away on February 9, 2013. After retiring from the US Army, Kenneth worked for the City of Tampa in the Records Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and June Himes and Grace Plyler; son, Herbert Mumme; brothers, Robert Himes and Ed Reitz; sister, Betty Fenstmaker; and three grandchildren. Kenneth is survived by his loving family, wife of 48 years, Sharon Himes; sons, Kenneth P. Himes, Jr. of Wimauma, John (Annette) Mumme of Utah, Jim Mumme of California, and Larry Mumme of Wimauma; daughters, Charlene Himes of Ruskin, Kathlene (Pedro) Martinez of Riverview, Kimberly (Darin) Barnett of Utah, and Michell Larson of Wimauma; brother, Lewis (Maxine) Himes of Pennsylvania; sister, Sandy Eshbaugh of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Thelma Reitz of Pennsylvania; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior.
