Kenneth Houston Golden went to Heaven with Jesus on June 3, 2023.   He was born August 20, 1943, in Bonifay, Florida, and lived in Tallahassee for many years.  While in Tallahassee,  he graduated from Leon High School  and from barber college..   Kenneth moved to Brandon, Florida in September of 1966, where he  lived since.

Kenneth worked as a barber for over 50 years  and was fondly known by a few generations of clients at Ken's Barber Shop in Brandon as   "Mr. Ken"'.    He was a loving  husband, father, grandfather,  brother,  uncle, and great-uncle.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 52 years. Beverly (Wilson), sons Jeffrey Scott  (Pam) and Steven Mark  (Lynne), and grandsons  Ayden, Liam, and Mark Golden, and Elijah Long.    He is also survived  by a brother, William Edward Golden  (Karen),  and a sister, Susan Chitty  (Gene), and several nieces, nephews, and  great-nieces and great-nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Houston Elijah Golden, his mother Lois (Carroll) Golden,  and sister, Doris Virginia Golden.

A Celebration of Life service was held on June 12, 2023, at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, Florida.    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the  Alzheimers Association or the church or charity of your choice.
