Briggs, Kathryn Sturdivant "Kitty", of Tampa, passed away on January 9, 2012. She was born on October 31, 1939 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig K. Briggs. Kitty is survived by her loving family, children, Karen Howard, Toni (Bobby) Evans and Earl Howard; grandchildren, Anthony, Timothy, Cody and Sami; great-grandchildren, Scott and Anthony; sisters, Joyce (Danny) Ross and Louise (Benny) Hutchinson; brothers, Ronnie (Ruth) Sturdivant and Steve (Jacki) Sturdivant; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial gathering on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
