Karen B. Murman of Brandon, Florida passed away on January 05, 2019 in Tampa, Florida

Karen was born in Tampa, Florida to Edward and Gisela Bodler on July 29, 1945. She attended King High School and graduated from Hillsborough Community College. She was a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for 44 years and worked at Tampa General Hospital, University of South Florida Medical Services, Tokos, and the Public Health Department. She married Thomas G. Murman on October 27, 1985 in Tampa, Florida and lived in the Tampa and West Palm Beach areas.

Karen valued family and cherished all the memories she made. She is survived by her loving spouse, Thomas G. Murman Sr, and children: Priscilla F. Warren, Edward M. O'Connell, and Thomas G. Murman Jr. Also by her grandchildren: David Wissman, William Wissman (and wife Anne), Jack O'Connell, Kaitlyn O'Connell, and Taylor Murman. As well as by her great grandchildren: Arlea Wissman, Everly Wissman, Timothy Wissman and sisters: Andrea Hastings and Krista Silbiger (and husband Jonathan).

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday (01/12/19) at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home with Father Steve Dumais of Mary Help of Christians Parish officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Gisela and Edward Bodler, and her sister, Karla Bodler.
