Jacobsen, Julia M., 72, of Lithia passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009.
Julie (Grandma) was born May 18, 1937 in Brooklyn; N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Bill. She is survived by her daughter Michelle and son-in law Tim Greene and will be greatly missed by her two grandchildren, Mariah and Timmy. Julie and her husband moved to Hudson, Florida in 1977 and then to Lithia, FL in 2004. They enjoyed boating and traveling. Most of all Julie was a loving and patient grandmother who will leave behind a lifetime of memories for both her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers those who wish to honor her memory can contribute to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 6:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
