Judy Ann (Thompson) Palmer, 76. After a 9 year struggle with dementia, Judy Palmer passed away peacefully in her sleep during the early morning of December 30, 2022. Judy was born on March 15, 1946, the daughter of Royal Christopher Thompson and Vivian Clark Thompson. Raised in Ogdensburg, she graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. Judy is survived by her husband David K. Palmer, three sisters, Christy Akins, Deby Hebert and Robin Hajaistron, four children Mark Rowe, Carrie Rowe, Craig Rowe and Rene Palmer, 10 grand children, Cheyanne Clapp-Rowe, Joshua Rowe, Madison Rowe, Darian Rowe, Raymond Melancon, Adam Melancon, Mark Rowe Jr., Michelle Dunderale, Tiffany Palmer, Steffany Palmer, four great grandchildren, Mariella Rowe, Hunter Dunderdale, Ryder Dunderdale, Brinley Dunderdale and many loving nieces and nephews. She worked successfully in food service much of her life, serving as a manager when needed. Her outgoing and entertaining personality endeared her to customers wherever she went. A life-long cat lover, many cats owned Judy over the years, once as many as 8 at one time! After retirement Judy indulged her passion for thrifting and became well known among thrift store employees across Tampa.
Judy was predeceased by her brother John (Joey) Clark and his wife Marilyn, and 2 sisters Francis Harriet (Cookie) Thompson Emerson, Sharon Lee Thompson Spicciatti and her niece Melinda K (Clark) Carbone.
Judy will be dearly missed by friends and family alike.
