Obituary

Joshua, Daniel Sangiorgio, the 17, of Brandon Florida left this world far too soon on January 25, 2023. As an infant, Joshua was dedicated to the Lord Jesus at the Word of Life Tabernacle church in Tampa. Joshua was baptized via immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as a youth.

Josh was in Scouting for 12 years as a Cub Scout with Pack 92 at Bay life church, and then later as a Boy Scout with Troop 110 at Apostles Lutheran Church in Brandon, FL. Joshua was a Life rank in Scouts and also a member of the Order of the Arrow which is Scouting's national honor Society.

Joshua was a senior at Brandon high School and he participated in Brandon Marching Eagles band during his freshman year, it was very disciplined and challenging for him, but he was faithful to be there for all the practices and football games. Recently, Joshua had a marine science class at Brandon high School and the wonderful teacher was kind and gave him some tropical fish and then he also bought a few beta fish. Josh actually set up four different fish tanks at home to separate the beta fish so they wouldn't fight. He loved fishing and would study YouTube videos to learn more about how fishing experts would target different species of fish.

Joshua was fairly athletic, and he actually enjoyed jumping and doing flips on our trampoline at the same time. He was also kind and loving and generous, especially to his brother Christian who is a special-needs child. He always gave him extra hugs and love. Many times at our house when Joshua would make different fruit shakes, he would go through the house looking for me, so I could try it with him and if he couldn't finish a particular meal, he didn't want to waste the food, so he asked his Dad to finish it for him.

When mom and dad would go visit Christian or go to church, Joshua would take care of our dog, Patsy, he would let her out to go to the bathroom or feed her. This was a great help to us to take care of our dog; Josh really loved Patsy and she misses him.

I will miss josh so much and I will always love my son.

Everyone please pray for our whole family, we really need it!  I hope God does something positive from this tragedy.

We thank our Pastor Carl Herms for all his generosity, love and support

We thank our family and friends that support us or expressed their love for us.

Joshua's memorial service will be on Saturday, February 11 at 3 PM at the Brandon High School Auditorium.

Sincerely, John Sangiorgio dad and Beth Sangiorgio- mom
