Josephine R. Klips, 81, died Saturday of a stroke. A resident of the Brandon area since 1988, she previously lived in Ohio and Indiana, where she was born in 1935. She worked for years as a R.N., having acquired medical skills by caring for her son, Jimmy, who died of a stroke at age 16. Josephine was also predeceased by her beloved husbands, Herbert H. Cox of Englewood, Ohio and Dan Klips, of Vandalia, Ohio. She spent her retirement years focused on being the world's best Grandma and she is survived by her two Granddaughters, Ashley Williams Hale, an attorney in Phoenix, AZ, and Christina Justin, a student. Josephine is also survived by her daughter, Diane L. Justin, a Chef at the University Club, and her son, Gary E. Williams, a family law attorney in Clearwater. The family will receive friends and acquaintances at 9:30am, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Serenity Meadows funeral home at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL; a Memorial service will follow at 10:30am, with the Rev. Merritt Waters presiding. In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to the charity of the giver's choice.
