Suppa, Joseph V., 78, of Brandon, formerly of Oceanside, New York, passed away on January 21, 2008. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Men?s Club and he served as an usher and an office volunteer. Joseph was also a Volunteer for the Brandon Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Senior Friends of Brandon Hospital. He retired from the Town of Hempstead, NY, where he worked as a Senior Plumbing Inspector.
Joseph is survived by his loving family, wife of 55 years, Bernadette; son, Joseph W. Suppa (Phyllis) of Oceanside, NY; daughter, Mary C. Diolosa (Anthony) of Sun City Center, FL; brothers, Ben Suppa of San Bernardino, CA and John Suppa of Farmingdale, NY; grandchildren, Douglas Diolosa (Lisa), Jennifer Smith (Brian), Nicole Suppa, Nicholas Suppa, Jessica Suppa, Anthony Suppa; and great grandchildren, Madelyn and Christopher Smith.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 24, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Seffner.
