Joseph F. Olszewski, 94 years of age, from Brooksville/Dover Florida passed away on September 27, 2017 in the company of loving family. He and his late wife,Regina, began their life together in Lynn, Massachusetts where they raised their 4 children. Joseph served proudly in the United States Navy, fighting in the South Pacific during World War II. He then began a 27 year career as a Lynn police officer, 16 of which were in vice and narcotics. In his retirement years he set up and ran a blueberry farm. Survivors include his 4 children and their spouses: Joseph and Marlene of Alfred, Maine
Kathy and Bruce of Chelan, Washington, Donna and Jim Gorman of Kittery, Maine, and Gina and John Ernst of Brooksville, Florida. He also had the loving role of being Pa to 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the VA of Tampa, Florida and HPH Hospice.
