Joseph F DeLucia Jr, 81, passed away on January 20, 2025 in Valrico, Florida.

Joseph, otherwise known as Buddy, was born on March 26, 1943, in Somerville, NJ and grew up in Raritan, NJ. He graduated from Somerville High School in where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He then attended Villanova University. Buddy married Marie on June 25, 1967, and resided in Branchburg, NJ where they raised their two daughters Jen and Regan.

Buddy was the proud owner of DeLucia's Pizzeria along with his brother Allie. In 2015, after retiring, Buddy moved to Florida to be close to his daughters and grandchildren. Buddy enjoyed playing cards, traveling, going to Disney with Marie and most of all pizza. Buddy was very present in his grandchildren's lives and if he wasn't working was at their athletic events.

Buddy is preceded in death by his wife Marie, parents, Joseph and Irene DeLucia, brother Allie DeLucia, and grandparents Constantino and Agnes DeLucia.

He is lovingly remembered by his two daughters Jen Kobuta, Regan Reynolds and husband Mike, Four grandchildren Jake, Ryan, Cal, and Charly.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4th at 10:30am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 10118 St. Stephen Circle, Riverview, Fl 33569.
