Joseph John Del Prete, age 95, of Riverview, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026.

Joseph was a simple man who valued family, loyalty, and a life lived with quiet dignity. He found meaning in the everyday moments and was deeply devoted to those he loved. He shared 48 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Barbara Del Prete, who preceded him in death in 2013. Their long and loving partnership was the foundation of their family.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Stephen Del Prete, age 56, of Riverview, Florida, and his cherished granddaughter, Alexis Del Prete, age 22, of Tampa, Florida, who brought him great pride and joy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida. The date and time will be announced at a later time.

Joseph will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady presence, and the simple, meaningful life he lived. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family.

There will be Celebration of Life held for Joseph on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A gathering will start at 10:00 a.m. for family and friends with a memorial service to start at 11:00 am followed by lunch.
