Calvente, Joseph Raymond Jr., 87, of Riverview, passed away on June 10, 2012. Joseph proudly served in the US Marine Corps during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 148. He worked as a floor manager for a New York bank prior to his retirement and worked at the Bloomingdale/Bell Shoals Publix, where he played Santa for many years. Joseph is survived by his loving family, daughters, Irma (Steven) Benigno, Michelle Laster and Yvonne (Paul) Lausell; six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral service for Joseph will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at Serenity Meadows.
