Joseph Carl Broyles ``J.C." "Joe", 79, of Clair Mel City FL, passed away on Saturday August 28, 2021 after a brief, yet difficult, battle with cancer. J.C. was born in Chuckey, TN on February 8, 1942 and lived all over the U.S. as the oldest son of a career Navy man. J.C. served his country in the United States Air Force from July 21, 1961 until July 19, 1965. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Andrew Broyles, his mother Evelyn Immogene Broyles, brother Thomas ``Tommy" Carroll Broyles and nephew Tommy "Animal" Broyles. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Shelia Joyce Broyles, brother Kenneth Broyles (Rita), sister Betty Lillard, son Andrew Broyles (Michelle), daughters Carlisa Peterson, Gini Maraman (Scott) and Audrey Bird (Mike) and 14 grandchildren Samantha Hartman (Mac),Dakoda, Cloey, Chris, Garrett, Payton, Easton, Chezney, Garritt, Tessa, Kyle, Oliveah, Norah and Micheal. J.C. loved to spend his free time building things in his workshop or taking pictures of nature. He was an avid car enthusiast who loved old Hot Rods. He loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and grandchildren. J.C. will be truly missed by all who knew him. Memorial services with full Military Honors for J.C. will be held Saturday September 18, 2021 at Noon. Family will be receiving friends beginning at 11 a.m. at Serenity Meadows in Riverview FL, followed by internment in the Peace Garden for Veterans onsite.
